Peter has spent 15 years at the intersection of social justice, emerging technology, public-private partnerships, and enterprise research and development. He creates environments — both physical and software enabled — that allow stakeholder groups to connect, collaborate, and explore complex problems and solutions that create virtuous cycles of value creation.
As head of Business Development for Civic Hall, Peter’s was responsible for business and new program development, setting revenue strategy and curating meaningful programs and authentic opportunities for discussion.
Prior to Civic Hall, Peter spent a decade as a serial entrepreneur and strategic leader inside large companies including Yahoo! and Hewlett-Packard, and successful startup ventures including Federated Media, Betable, and Neo Innovation.
Before joining the private sector, Peter worked in the trenches of the affordable housing movement in San Francisco at the Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corporation (TNDC). He was the youngest general manager in the history of the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
Peter combines a passion for social justice, deep experience in innovation with nonprofits, startups, and Fortune 500 companies, and expertise in methods like Lean Startup and Agile/XP to help leader and communities move from ideas to impact.
